# Endaoment > Technology and services for turning investments into impact. Endaoment is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and donor-advised fund sponsor, giving any platform or investor the infrastructure to convert any asset into transparent, tax-deductible charitable impact. EIN: 84-4661797. ## What Endaoment is Endaoment is a nonprofit providing technology and services for turning investments into impact, giving any platform or investor the infrastructure to convert any asset into transparent, tax-deductible charitable impact. We make generosity programmable: Endaoment converts investments (crypto, stocks, or complex assets) into transparent, tax-deductible charitable impact for platforms and donors alike. Giving is native infrastructure, not a bolt-on. Endaoment is not a crypto play, not a wallet, and not a yield product. ## Products Endaoment has three properties, all powered by Endaoment Funds. ### Endaoment App Self-service giving platform designed for modern donors and advisors. Open a donor-advised fund and give cash, stocks, bonds, complex assets, or crypto. Donations of appreciated assets avoid the sale, so the full value goes to the fund. Existing investment strategies keep running; there is no forced liquidation. Advisors can manage the assets in a client's donor-advised fund alongside that client's taxable accounts. ### Endaoment API Giving infrastructure designed for firms, products, and platforms. Custodian-agnostic, modular, API-first. A platform can offer donor-advised funds as a native account type, keep the whole fund in its own reporting, run it under its own brand, and earn a fee line. The specific build is Advisor-Managed DAFs: a firm that already manages a client's assets manages the client's donor-advised fund too, rather than sending it to a third-party sponsor. ### Giving Services White-glove support for custom donations, fund management, and granting. Available alongside both the App and the API. Complex or high-value donations, ongoing fund administration, and grant execution are handled by people rather than left to self-serve. ## How Endaoment is different - Capture and retain assets: bring giving accounts alongside taxable accounts instead of watching them leave for an outside sponsor. - Customize and control: custodian-agnostic, modular, API-first. - VIP service at scale: stand up a donor-advised fund program without building or staffing it. - Trusted by institutions: audited, transparent, vetted. - Complex asset support: cash, bonds, crypto, stocks, and alternatives. - Investment flexibility: keep using existing strategies, with no forced liquidation. Give it without giving it up. - Tax-conscious wealth management: tax-smart giving inside a complete plan. Your next best move after tax-loss harvesting, and hygiene next to the 401k and the 529. ## Who uses Endaoment - Registered investment advisors and advisory firms, including those building their own client portal. - Custodians and wealth platforms offering donor-advised funds on their approved list or inside their product. - Advisory roll-ups looking for one vetted sponsor across their practices. - Individual donors giving appreciated stock, cash, crypto, or complex assets. - Nonprofits and foundations receiving grants. ## Who Endaoment works with - BNY: Endaoment is the DAF of choice for technology-forward advisors at BNY. - Ethic: Ethic works with Endaoment to bring values-aligned investing to DAFs. - Silver Oak Securities: Endaoment and Silver Oak collaborate to make DAFs a seamless offering for advisors and their clients. - Core Planning: Core Planning advisors use Endaoment DAFs to deepen their relationship with their clients. - Ripple: Endaoment is the conduit between Ripple Impact and their network of nonprofit grantees. - ResearchHub: Endaoment facilitates ResearchHub's ongoing system of decentralized research grants. Endaoment-managed portfolios carry no Endaoment portfolio fee; traditional portfolios pass through the custodian's expense ratio. Firms may instead elect an assets-under-management arrangement on their referral code. Both schedules are on the About page at https://endaoment.org/about#fees. Board, bylaws, Form 990 and state filings, the risk framework, conflicts-of-interest policy, and the ethics mailbox are published at https://docs.endaoment.org/governance. Every dollar is independently verifiable. Yearly impact reports, with grants, donations, and funds by year, are at https://impact.endaoment.org/reports. ## Blog The blog at https://blog.endaoment.org/ has four sections: Case Studies, Announcements, Release Notes, and a Knowledge Base. The Knowledge Base is in three categories: DAF Basics (what a DAF is, what makes a good gift, illiquid and complex assets), Tax and Planning (tax-loss harvesting with DAFs, giving appreciated stock, year-end timing), and Point of View (why Endaoment is built on public infrastructure, where the DAF model is going, impact and grantmaking). ## Links - Home: https://endaoment.org/ - Endaoment App: https://endaoment.org/app - Endaoment API: https://endaoment.org/api - About: https://endaoment.org/about - What Makes a Good Gift: https://endaoment.org/what-makes-a-good-gift - Donation Calculator: https://endaoment.org/calculators/donation - Documentation: https://docs.endaoment.org/ - Blog: https://blog.endaoment.org/ - Impact reports: https://impact.endaoment.org/reports - Open a fund: https://app.endaoment.org/ - Contact: hello@endaoment.org
